BAPIO Training Academy (BTA) was established by the British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin to advance healthcare by providing capacity-building training and professional development for International Medical Graduates.

Since its inception in 2015, BTA has been dedicated to cultivating clinical excellence among healthcare professionals by offering the highest quality medical education. The General Medical Council (GMC), UK, has approved BTA’s International Fellowship Programme for the registration of International Medical Graduates in the medical register, enabling them to work in the UK.

BTA currently collaborates with over 50 healthcare organizations in India and more than 20 NHS trusts, creating cost-effective training and placement pathways for medical graduates.

BTA is also working closely with the University of South Wales and the University of Buckingham on their MBA healthcare and leadership programmes.

BAPIO Training Academy has successfully introduced postgraduate training programmes in Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
