BAPIO (British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin) is proud to announce that the BAPIO Training Academy (BTA) has been recognised among 20 leading companies driving £400 million in trade and investment between the UK and India.
This recognition follows the recent 13th UK-India Economic and Financial Dialogue, co-chaired by UK Chancellor The Rt. Hon. Rachel Reeves and the Indian Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. In a joint statement, the two leaders highlighted strengthened cooperation across key business sectors, including new export deals and investments worth £128 million, alongside previously concluded deals totaling £271 million.

BTA’s inclusion in this prestigious list reflects the Academy’s ongoing commitment to advancing medical education and professional development. Through its wide-ranging initiatives—such as the Junior Clinical Fellowship Programme, the MRCP Three-Year Remote Programme, and the Senior Clinical Fellowship Programme – BTA continues to enhance the skills of doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals, including echocardiographers and audiologists.
These efforts aim to elevate healthcare standards, become an example of a living bridge, and improve patient outcomes in both the UK and India. Further details of these and other BTA programmes can be found at https://bapiotrainingacademy.com.
